Esterházy looks back on over 250 years of winegrowing tradition in northern Burgenland. With its foundation in 2006, the winery in Trausdorf is still quite young. From the very beginning, passion and know-how have been used to produce balanced, precise and complex wines. Today, a wide range of grape varieties is produced on about 90 hectares of own vineyards. As one of the most important companies in the Leithaberg DAC region, focus is placed on the local Blaufränkisch and the international Chardonnay grape variety. No matter whether steel tank maturation, wood maturation, ageing in granite barrels or even in small ceramic eggs – there are no taboos in this modern wine cellar. On top of that you can enjoy true burger artistry at Ludwig's – situated in the heart of Salzburg. Here perfect burgers – always freshly prepared from regional ingredients and the finest organic beef – are served in a modern atmosphere. This evening, the burgers come with a perfect wine pairing.
