TAF

TAF is a therapeutic care concept offered within the framework of youth welfare for families, children or adolescents who, due to their specific socio-economic and psychosocial problems, are unable or unwilling to make use of the services offered by existing institutions.

This therapeutic offer differs from the existing ones in that the care work takes place in the environment of the children and their families (outreach family therapy) and is adapted very adaptively to the problems of those affected. TAF is methodologically oriented towards interactive, transfer-focused family therapy and psychoanalytic concepts.

The target group of the therapeutic work are multiproblem families, i.e. families with clinical symptoms and psychosocial multiple problems.
