Luis Trenker Shop Salzburg
The fashion label LUIS TRENKER from Bolzano/South Tyrol founded the concept of the "Alpine Lifestyle" in 1995: Because founder Michi Klemera never simply wanted to make fashion, but to convey an authentic attitude to life. Alpine Lifestyle" thus stands for a successful blend of a sense of home and openness to the world, tradition and innovation.
The LUIS TRENKER label draws its inspiration primarily from the past. Whether traditional materials, tried and tested processing methods or nostalgic retro motifs: the love for one's own roots is reflected in the entire production process - from the first sketches to the finished garment. The label also attaches great importance to sustainability: almost all production is carried out in Europe, which not only enables short transport distances, but also better control of the production sites and the working conditions there.
The Alpine lifestyle world of LUIS TRENKER now comprises eight monobrand stores, one of which was opened in Salzburg in February 2019. For Michi Klemera, a long-cherished dream came true: from 1897 to 1928, a respected master tailor and "citizen of the city of Salzburg" resided in Linzergasse 6. This imperial purveyor to the court was called Wenzel Klemera and was Michi's great-grandfather. With the opening of the LUIS TRENKER shop, the name Klemera returned to the Mozart city a good 100 years later.
