A clockwork is made

How does a watch work and what is the meaning of "balance and escapement"? Using a micro-camera or a beamer, you can observe the assembly of a watch movement up close and experience a functional demonstration of a mechanical pocket watch and automatic movement. Tick tock!

The heart of Albert Gilli beats for the watchmaking profession! The master craftsman's workshop is dedicated above all to the repair and restoration of antique watches. Together with his wife and son, he works on Müllner Hügel with meticulousness and dedication to the restoration of various timepieces - from the historical clock to the aging wristwatch. All work is professionally carried out in-house, from the manufacture of spare parts or metal case parts to gilding and restoration of enamel dials.
