Violin making from Amati until today

The violin, in the form in which we know it, was made over 500 years ago and, with a few adaptations, is still made today.

VIOLIN MAKING MÜCKE-ELSCHEK

Violin maker, bow maker and restorer Adrian Elschek and master violin maker Gesine Mücke-Elschek have been working as violin makers for 30 years. The Salzburg workshop is dedicated to the construction and restoration of violins, violas, cellos and bows. Used and new instruments are also bought and sold. Adrian Elschek is also specialized in working with bows. In addition to extensive consulting, the company carries a large selection of strings, cases and accessories.
