RAW MONOLOG HELD BY THE HOST AND GARNISHED WITH FINE SCHLUTZKRAPFEN
Host: Bachmann Buam
An empty tavern. Not a customer for miles around, it's as quiet as a mouse, just the innkeeper talking. As if is life depends on it. He has read Hofmannsthal and Handke and scolds his guests in the most beautiful Thomas-Bernhard tradition. The scenic reading of Albert Ostermaier's "For Sisyphus´s sake. A Supper" is read and played by the Krimpelstätter innkeeper himself. For his rehearsals, Hannes Bachmann will be supported by Tobias Moretti, who gave an impressive performance at the 2019 Salzburg Festival on the Mönchsberg. Josh Vanderberg provides the musical framework for the monolog. The evening will be accompanied by the traditional Krimpelstätterian cuisine with the Salzburg Tapas – an interpretation of fine Pinzgauer Schlutzkrapfen and baked out Bauernkrapfen "sweet and sour". Honey is used for the sweet variant and endive for the bitter and will be served with a warm serving of potato salad.
