Blind Date with: Kathrin Bethge (projections)

If you like to practice the freefall, take the idea of a musical Blind Date to heart. Here you can hear musicians who meet for the first time in concert and in front of an audience. Let yourself be surprised! Katrin Bethge's overhead projections transform a room’s surfaces into "transitory painting". At an intersection, in a gallery, a church - as in Salzburg to the music of Stian Westerhus – or on a stage - three-dimensional materials such as water, sugar and other organic structures interacting in a glass basin or on the surface-lens of the projector are projected in real time. Katrin Bethge’s projections enlighten projects in the fields of dance, theater, photography, music, exhibitions and activities in urban space on international stages and festivals. Here in Salzburg we will her again and again - even surprisingly. A "blind date" will draw the audience to a projection performance with music at the Toskaninihof.
