Bankhammer Metzgersteig

The Metzgersteig Inn on the Alter Markt was acquired by the Bankhammer family (Goldene Kugel) in February 2024. The family has a special passion for traditional Salzburg inn culture. The Metzgersteig Inn (Alter Markt 2, 1st floor) and the Metzgersteig Standhausschank (Alter Markt 1) together offer a comprehensive culinary offering for guests. In the outdoor dining area on the Alter Markt, dishes from both the inn and the standhausschank can be ordered.
