The Jazz Festival in the Old Town

A blind date with the city

The Jazz&TheCity Festival Salzburg will take place this year from 13.-16. October 2022 and will inspire the people in the old town of Salzburg with a free spirit and lots of good music. Since its beginnings more than 20 years ago, when the festival was still called "Jazz in the Old Town", these days in October are an invitation to all Salzburg residents and guests to let themselves be carried through the city with free admission  to discover new music.

The essence of improvisation is confidence

Jazz&TheCity Playlist

The musical landscape of Jazz&TheCity is diverse, lively and surprising. It ranges from the electronically inspired jazz pop of Christoph Pepe Auer, the African coloured grooves of the artist Somi from the USA to the sound combinations of the Jazzorchester Vorarlberg, far beyond expectable listening habits.

A first impression can be found here in this playlist.
