SZENE
SZENE stands for new content and formats in the performing arts.
The main focus is the Sommerszene festival, which presents international artists from the fields of dance, theatre and performance. The SZENE Theatre, which can hold up to 700 people, serves as the central venue. This theatre is run apart from the SZENE activities as an open cultural house offering a colourful programme of theatre, cabaret, readings, concerts and clubbings.
It has been the heart of the festival and the scene bar for many years.
