SOLD OUT! The restaurant has found a congenial partner for an evening as tasty as it is exciting in Vitus Winkler. The 4-toque chef runs the Hotel Sonnhof in St. Veit im Pongau. In his restaurant “Kräuterreich”, he serves what he has foraged in the morning on the Pongau mountain meadows for lunch and dinner. Martin Sönmezay explains what links the “HUMBOLDT” with the gourmet chef: “Vitus Winkler is a good friend of ours and a fantastic ambassador for getting to know plants and herbs that grow on our doorsteps, meadows and in our mountains.”
    
Sönmezay tells us which herbs and plants grow native in March on the Mönchsberg: “Usually the first blooms and plants are ribwort, wild garlic, daisies and dandelions. The way we cook means that we can't say exactly in advance what we will have available. We cook truly according to the season, fresh and freely.
