Cookbook exhibition with prize draw

If leafing through already makes your mouth water, it must be a cookbook. Quite a few of them appear from the Anton Pustet publishing company. The history of this Salzburg publishing house extends back to 1592.

The range of books about eating and drinking is impressive: from baroque cuisine to farm life cooking, from the Family von Trapp cookbook to the beer cookbook. The clear focus is on Austrian culture and cuisine.

The books which tell of cooking poetry, baking bread or secret sins of monastery cooking are also a feast for the eyes

During eat&meet, the Anton Pustet Verlag invites you to a large cookbook exhibition with a prize draw in the Bergstrasse. There are also vegan wines, small delicacies and a surprise gift from the De Gustibus wine house that is located right next door.

“A good wine is like a good book: It tells us a story.” This statement can be found on the De Gustibus website. And in the wine house as well, you can peruse the books on food and drink with a glass of wine in your hand. Karl-Heinz-Robitschko, the owner of De Gustibus, is of the opinion that: “Life is too short for bad wine and bad books”. Who would argue with that?
