Founded in 1984, the Vienna ImPulsTanz Festival has been inviting people to its free dance classes Public Moves in public spaces every summer for seven years now. In 2024, the series is now reaching out beyond Vienna's borders for the first time and will be touring to Klagenfurt, Linz and Salzburg from 30 May. There will also be an even stronger focus on accessibility, in line with the motto "for all ages, all bodies, all genders, all levels". Everyone is welcome to take part free of charge and get to know different dance styles taught by international and local instructors. No previous knowledge is necessary. In Salzburg - more precisely on the sculpture terrace of the Museum der Moderne Salzburg on Mönchsberg - you can look forward to contemporary dance, house, HipHop, Feldenkrais and much more from 27 June to 7 July. Together with Farah Deen, Conny Scheuer & Romy Kolb, Christopher Matthews and Futurelove Sibanda, the dance floor will be set alight.
